Isabell has been baking as long as she can remember. It began when she was a small child, making Christmas cookies with her beloved mother. As she grew older she realized her mother and grandmother, who still lived in Germany, would have competitions to see who could make the most variety of traditional cookies. They would write letters to each other with the type and quantity of each special creation. Recipes had been handed down from Isabell's great-grandparents, Viennese pastry chefs who opened up their own restaurant in Brussels, Belgium.
Isabell, in turn, taught her children the recipes carrying on the traditions that we treasure.
